Has Microsoft created a "Vertical Solution" for your industry?
A couple of the terms that you will hear when exploring software providers that add onto Dynamics GP will be "Vertical" and "Horizontal". When a Vertical Solution is referred to, it references a software that is for a specific industry, or a specific function in a limited number of industries. Contrast this to a Horizontal Solution, which is one that can be used for a specific business function across industries. An example of a Vertical Industry would be Auto Glass, which has very specific needs which sets it apart from other industries
