The ExpertAssist Permissions Reporter for SharePoint displays a simple and intuitive list of users who have access to the current site, allowing instant reporting of permissions to end users. ​A common request often handled by SharePoint Administrators is to provide stakeholders and management personnel with detailed reports on individuals who have access to a particular site. This starts out as a simple task, but can grow to be tedious and time-consuming when dealing with nested Active Directory groups. In environments where end users should not have access to a full list of permissions, the report can be secured to only allow administrators to view it. This application is compatible with SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013. The tool also supports reading from Active Directory, nested groups, and SharePoint FBA users.
